Getting There

• Walking

  If you're in the Center City area, head towards the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. The Barnes Foundation is located at 2025 Benjamin Franklin Pkwy. Simply walk along the Parkway, which is a straight path lined with trees and museums. Look for the large building with a modern design. If you need to ask for directions, locals will be familiar with this prominent museum.

• Public Transit - Bus

  To reach the Barnes Foundation by bus, locate the nearest bus stop with service to the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. You can take either the Route 32 or Route 48 bus. Board the bus and ride until you reach the stop closest to the Barnes Foundation. The museum is a short walk from the bus stop. Once you get off, head east on the Parkway and look for the museum with its distinctive facade.

• Public Transit - Subway

  If you’re near a subway station, take the Broad Street Line (orange line) and get off at the City Hall station. From there, transfer to the Market-Frankford Line (blue line) and head towards 69th Street. Get off at the 69th Street stop. Exit the station and walk a few blocks to the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. The Barnes Foundation will be directly in front of you as you approach the Parkway.

• Public Transit - Trolley

  You can also take the Trolley for a scenic ride. Make your way to the closest Trolley station and board the Route 10 Trolley. Ride until you reach the 69th Street Terminal. Transfer to the Market-Frankford Line there and get off at the City Hall stop. From City Hall, exit and walk towards the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, where the Barnes Foundation is located.
