Walking
If you are starting from Independence Hall, head east on Chestnut Street towards 5th Street. Turn left on 5th Street and walk until you reach Walnut Street. Then, turn right on Walnut Street and continue walking until you reach the intersection with 2nd Street. The Benjamin Rush Garden will be located just to your left at 5th and Chestnut Street, across from the Independence Visitor Center.

From the Philadelphia Museum of Art, walk to the nearest bus stop at 24th Street and the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. Take the Route 38 bus heading towards the 69th Street Terminal. Ride for about 15 minutes and get off at the 5th Street & Market Street stop. Walk east on Market Street until you reach 2nd Street, then turn right. The Benjamin Rush Garden will be on your left.

If you are near the 69th Street Terminal, take the Media/Elwyn Line towards 69th Street and transfer at the 69th Street station to the Market-Frankford Line. Ride towards 69th Street and get off at the 5th Street/Independence Hall station. Exit the station and walk east on Market Street, then turn left on 2nd Street. The Benjamin Rush Garden will be on your left.
