Getting There

• Public Transit - Bus

  If you are near the Philadelphia Museum of Art, catch the Route 38 bus at the museum stop. Ride the bus for about 10 minutes until you reach the 'Boathouse Row' stop. From there, you will be just a short walk to Boathouse Row. Head towards the river, and you will see the iconic boathouses lined along the Schuylkill River.

• Public Transit - Subway + Walk

  Take the Broad Street Line subway from any station along Broad Street. Get off at the 'City Hall' station and transfer to the Market-Frankford Line. Travel to '69th Street' station. Once you exit, walk towards the west on Market Street until you reach 33rd Street. Turn left on 33rd Street and continue walking until you reach Boathouse Row along the Schuylkill River. This should take about 20-30 minutes.

  If you are staying in Center City, a pleasant walk to Boathouse Row can be a great option. Start at City Hall and head west on Market Street. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 miles, crossing over the Schuylkill River. Once you reach the riverfront, turn left, and you will find Boathouse Row along the riverbank. The walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes, and you'll enjoy the sights along the way.

• Bike Rental

  For a fun and active way to get to Boathouse Row, consider renting a bike. You can find bike rental stations throughout the city. Once you have a bike, head towards the Schuylkill River Trail. Follow the trail north along the river until you reach Boathouse Row. The ride will take around 15-20 minutes, and the views are beautiful!
