Walking
If you are near City Hall, start walking east on Market Street. You will pass by several shops and restaurants. Continue for about 10 minutes until you reach 599 Market St. The Independence Visitor Center will be on your right.
Bus
Find the nearest SEPTA bus stop and take Bus 17 or Bus 42 heading towards Center City. Get off at the 6th and Market Streets stop. From there, walk one block east on Market Street for about 5 minutes, and the Independence Visitor Center will be on your right at 599 Market St.
Subway
Take the Broad Street Line subway from any station. Get off at City Hall Station. Transfer to the Market-Frankford Line and head west to 5th Street Station. From there, walk east on Market Street for about 4 minutes, and you will arrive at the Independence Visitor Center at 599 Market St.
Bike
If you are renting a bike, head towards the Schuylkill River Trail and ride north. Follow the trail until you reach the Market Street exit. Turn right onto Market Street and ride east for about 15 minutes until you reach 599 Market St. The Independence Visitor Center will be on your right.
