Walking
If you are in Fairmount, start by heading southwest on Fairmount Avenue. Continue straight for about half a mile until you reach the intersection with the Schuylkill River Trail. Turn left onto the trail and enjoy a scenic walk along the river. After approximately 0.4 miles, you will reach the entrance to Fairmount Park. Continue through the park, following the signs towards West Fairmount Park. After about 0.6 miles, keep an eye out for States Drive on your right. From Fairmount, walk to the nearest bus stop on Fairmount Avenue for the Route 15 bus. Board the bus heading towards the east. After a 10-minute ride, get off at the 29th Street and Girard Avenue stop. From there, transfer to Bus Route 40 heading towards 69th Street Terminal.
