Getting There

  • Walking

    From Rittenhouse Square, head north on 18th Street toward Walnut Street. Once you reach Walnut Street, turn left and walk west until you reach 15th Street. Turn right onto 15th Street and continue walking until you reach Market Street. From there, turn left and walk east on Market Street. Declaration House is located at 700 Market St, on the left side of the street, just a short walk away.

    If you prefer to take public transportation, you can catch the Market-Frankford Line (blue line) at the 15th Street station, which is a short walk from Rittenhouse Square. Board the train headed towards the 69th Street Terminal. After two stops, get off at the 5th Street/Independence Hall station. Once you exit the station, head east on Market Street for a few blocks, and you will find Declaration House at 700 Market St on your right.
