Public Transit - Bus
If you are in downtown Pittsburgh, you can catch the bus at the Wood Street Station. Look for the bus routes 61A, 61B, or 71C. These buses will take you towards Oakland. After about 20-30 minutes, get off at the bus stop near the intersection of Schenley Drive and Forbes Avenue. From there, it’s a short walk to Phipps Conservatory. Head east on Forbes Avenue, and then take a left onto Schenley Drive. Walk straight, and you will see the entrance to Phipps Conservatory on your right.

Public Transit - Light Rail
You can also take the light rail from the Station Square station. Board the 'Gateway Clipper' light rail towards the North Side. Get off at the 'Pittsburgh Station' and transfer to the 'T' light rail heading towards 'South Hills Junction'. Disembark at the 'Oakland' station. From the station, head north on Fifth Avenue, then turn right onto Schenley Drive. Continue walking straight until you reach Phipps Conservatory, which will be on your left.

If you are already in the Oakland neighborhood, Phipps Conservatory is easily accessible on foot. From the University of Pittsburgh campus, exit onto Forbes Avenue and head south. Continue on Forbes Avenue until you reach Schenley Drive. Turn left on Schenley Drive, and the entrance to Phipps Conservatory will be on your right after a few minutes of walking.
