    If you are in Downtown Pittsburgh, start by walking towards Point State Park. From the Point Park area, head towards the fountain at the tip of the park. The Fort Pitt Museum is located at the entrance of Point State Park, at 601 Commonwealth Place. Follow the signs and pathways through the park. As you approach the museum, you will see the entrance on your right.

    Public Transit (Bus)

    To reach the Fort Pitt Museum by bus, find the nearest bus stop for the Port Authority of Allegheny County. You can take the '61A', '61B', or '71C' routes, which stop near Point State Park. Board the bus and ride until you reach the 'Liberty Ave + 6th St' stop. From there, walk west on Liberty Avenue until you reach the park entrance. The museum is located within the park, at 601 Commonwealth Place.

    Public Transit (Trolley)

    Take the T Light Rail service towards the station closest to Point State Park. Board the T at any downtown station and ride to the 'Station Square' stop. Once you arrive, walk across the Smithfield Street Bridge towards the downtown area. Continue walking straight until you reach Point State Park. The Fort Pitt Museum is located at 601 Commonwealth Place within the park.
