Getting There

  • Bus

    If you are starting from downtown Pittsburgh, you can take the Port Authority bus route 1, 2, or 4. Board the bus at any of the bus stops along Grant Street or Liberty Avenue. The fare is $2.75 (exact change required). Stay on the bus for about 15-20 minutes and get off at the 'North Side' stop. From there, it's a short walk. Head north on Federal Street, then turn left onto Arch Street. The National Aviary will be on your right at 700 Arch St.

    From downtown, you can also take the 'T' light rail system. Board the North Shore Line at the Station Square stop. The fare is $2.50.
