Getting There

  • Walking

    Starting from the Reading Public Library located at 100 S 5th St, Reading, PA, exit the library and head south on S 5th St. Continue straight for about 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with Penn St. Turn left onto Penn St and walk for another 0.4 miles. You will then reach the Reading Transportation Center, where you can catch a bus.

  • Public Bus

    From the Reading Transportation Center, board the BARTA bus route 3 towards 'Wyomissing'. Stay on the bus for approximately 15 minutes, and disembark at the 'Tulpehocken Rd & Hill Rd' stop. Once you get off, walk east along Tulpehocken Rd for about 0.5 miles until you reach Gring's Mill Recreation Area, located at 2083 Tulpehocken Rd.
