If you are starting from downtown Reading, walk to the Reading Bus terminal located at 7th and Penn Streets. Catch the Route 19 bus heading towards the Reading Area Community College. Stay on the bus for about 20 minutes. Get off at the stop near Red Bridge Road. From there, walk northeast on Red Bridge Road for approximately 10 minutes. The Der Distelfink Statue will be on your left, near the Heritage Center.
