Getting There

    If you are driving from any location in the Southern Alleghenies, head towards Interstate 76 (Pennsylvania Turnpike) and merge onto I-76 W. Continue on I-76 W for approximately 50 miles. Take exit 57A to merge onto I-279 N towards Pittsburgh. Continue on I-279 N for about 4 miles, then take exit 2B toward I-376 E. After about a mile, take exit 1C for Fort Duquesne Bridge. Cross the bridge and follow signs for the North Shore. Once on the North Shore, turn left onto Arch St, and the National Aviary will be on your right at 700 Arch St, Pittsburgh, PA 15212.

From there, it’s about a 10-minute walk to the National Aviary: walk north on Sandusky St, turn left onto Arch St, and the Aviary will be on your right at 700 Arch St, Pittsburgh, PA 15212.
