Car
If you're traveling by car, start by getting onto PA-191 S from your location in Upper Delaware Valley. Continue on PA-191 S for about 10 miles until you reach I-476 S (the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike). Take the ramp onto I-476 S and stay on it for approximately 18 miles. Exit at Norristown (Exit 16) and merge onto US-202 N. Follow the signs for US-202 N and continue for about 5 miles. Take the exit for Harding Blvd and turn left onto Harding Blvd. Elmwood Park Zoo will be on your right at 1661 Harding Blvd, Norristown, PA 19401. Note that parking at the zoo may incur a fee, usually around $5.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, begin by taking a local bus to the nearest train station, such as the Port Jervis Station. From Port Jervis, take the NJ Transit train towards Hoboken and transfer at Secaucus Junction to the Raritan Valley Line towards High Bridge. Get off at the Norristown station. From Norristown, you can take the SEPTA bus 99 to the Elmwood Park Zoo. The bus stop is located nearby the train station, and the fare is typically around $2.50. Ensure to check the bus schedule as it may vary.
