If you are traveling by car, start by navigating to the nearest interstate highway. From Scranton, take I-81 South towards Harrisburg. Merge onto I-476 South (Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike) towards Plymouth Meeting. Continue on I-476 for approximately 35 miles. Take exit 18 toward Plymouth Meeting. Merge onto Butler Pike and continue for about 1.5 miles. The Abolition Hall State Historical Marker will be on your right at 4010 Butler Pike, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462. There is no cost for parking near the marker.

For those using public transportation, you can start by taking a bus from Scranton to Philadelphia. Use the Greyhound or Martz Trailways service, which typically costs around $30-40 and takes about 2 hours. Once in Philadelphia, transfer to the SEPTA Regional Rail Line at the 69th Street Terminal and take the train toward the Norristown station. From Norristown, you can take the 99 bus towards Plymouth Meeting, which will drop you close to Butler Pike. Walk approximately 10 minutes to reach the Abolition Hall State Historical Marker at 4010 Butler Pike. Overall travel time may take approximately 3-4 hours depending on transfer times.
