Car
From Arequipa city center, head south on Av. Ejército. Continue onto Av. Los Incas and then take a left onto Av. 1 de Mayo. Follow this road until you reach the intersection with Calle 15 de Agosto. Turn right and continue driving straight for about 9 km. You will see signs for Ruta del Sillar. The entrance is located at J9RV+495 Canteras Añashuayco, Cerro Colorado 04017. Ensure that your vehicle is suitable for unpaved roads, as the last stretch may be rough.
Public Transportation
From Arequipa city center, take a taxi or a local bus to the 'Canteras' terminal, which is the closest public transport hub to Ruta del Sillar. Once you arrive, you can hire a local taxi or take a shared taxi (colectivo) directly to the entrance of Ruta del Sillar at J9RV+495 Canteras Añashuayco, Cerro Colorado 04017. Taxi fares may vary, but expect to pay around 15-20 soles for the trip.
