From the Plaza de Armas (main square) in Arequipa, head southwest on Calle Santa Catalina. Continue straight for about 5 blocks until you reach the intersection with Avenida La Paz. Turn left onto Avenida La Paz, and you will see the entrance to Santa Catalina Monastery on your right after a short walk.
Public Transport
From the Plaza de Armas, walk to the nearest bus stop on Calle Puente Grau. Take a minibus with the destination 'Santa Catalina' (ask locals if unsure which bus to take). The ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes. Get off near the intersection of Santa Catalina and Avenida La Paz, and walk back towards the entrance of Santa Catalina Monastery.
