If you are driving from central Callao, head south on Av. Elmer Faucett towards Av. Jorge Chávez. Continue on Av. Jorge Chávez and follow the signs for the Panamericana Sur. Stay on the Panamericana Sur for approximately 20 km. Take the exit toward Chorrillos and follow Av. Huaylas. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Av. Paseo de la República. Turn left onto Av. Paseo de la República and follow it to the coast. Playa La Chira will be on your right, identifiable by its beach access points.

From Callao, you can take a bus to Chorrillos. Head to the nearest bus stop and look for buses heading towards Chorrillos. The fare is usually around 2-3 soles. Get off at the Chorrillos district, and from there, you can either walk or take a local taxi. If walking, head towards Av. Huaylas and follow it until you reach Av. Paseo de la República. Turn left, and Playa La Chira will be on your right. If taking a taxi, the fare should be approximately 10-15 soles.
