We made the trip with guide Mike and driver Jorge. We were very satisfied; super-van, experienced and very friendly guide. We learned a lot about many things. The Condors were amazing!

Worth a visit to the Colca Canyon region

It was all well organized. In the morning of the first day you can see llamas, alpacas and vicuñas. The lunch buffet (to be paid for yourself) was fine. Afterwards, manger was able to swim in the Hot Springs for an hour and a half. The Hotel Pascana in Chivay was also good: The room was modern and the breakfast buffet the next day was good. Afterwards, we visited a few villages before heading to Cruz del Condor, where we had an hour. Afterwards we went back to Chivay (with a few stops). There you could have a lunch buffet again (but I went to another restaurant). Then you could either continue to Puno or return to Arequipa. I felt the trip was a good alternative to trekking.
