Car
If you are traveling by car, begin from the main entrance of Huascaran National Park, which is located in the town of Huaraz. Head southeast on the PE-3N highway. Continue for approximately 24 km until you reach the town of Marcará. As you arrive in Marcará, keep an eye out for local signage indicating Cochapampa. Upon entering Marcará, follow the road that leads to PC43+W2, which is your destination. The trip should take around 40-50 minutes depending on traffic conditions.

To reach Cochapampa using public transportation, start by taking a bus from Huaraz to Marcará. Buses depart from the main bus terminal in Huaraz and take approximately 1 hour to reach Marcará. Once in Marcará, you can either walk or take a local taxi to reach PC43+W2, which is about a 10-minute ride. The bus fare is typically around 10-15 PEN (Peruvian Soles) and the taxi fare within Marcará should not exceed 5-10 PEN.
