Getting There

  • Car

    If you are traveling by car, start from the main entrance of Huascarán National Park, which is near the town of Huaraz. Drive southeast on the PE-3N highway towards the town of Yungay. After approximately 25 kilometers, you will reach the fork at the 'Yungay' sign. Take the left fork towards 'Lagunas de Llanganuco'. Continue driving for about 15 kilometers, following the signs. The road will take you through stunning mountain landscapes. Once you reach the area, you will find a parking lot near the lakes.
