Getting There

Walking
From the center of Ica, head towards Av. San Martin. Walk straight until you reach the Plaza de Armas, which is the main square. From there, continue on Av. San Martin until you reach the intersection with Av. La Marina. Turn left onto Av. La Marina and walk for about 1.5 kilometers. You will see signs pointing towards Huacachina. Follow the signs, and you will arrive at the Huacachina Oasis in approximately 30 minutes.

At the Plaza de Armas, look for local buses or collectivos heading towards Huacachina. These typically have 'Huacachina' written on the front. Board one of these buses, and the ride will take about 15 to 20 minutes. Inform the driver you are going to Huacachina, and they will drop you off right at the entrance of the oasis.

Bicycle Rental
Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops located around the Plaza de Armas. Once you have a bike, take Av. San Martin towards Av. La Marina. Continue along this road, which leads directly to Huacachina. The ride is approximately 4 kilometers and should take around 20 minutes, depending on your cycling speed.
