Getting There

• Walking

  If you're in the center of Ica, start by heading towards Avenida San Martin. Walk south until you reach the intersection with Avenida Los Libertadores. Turn left onto Avenida Los Libertadores and continue walking for about 1 kilometer. You will pass several local shops and eateries along the way. Keep an eye out for signs indicating Huacachina. Once you reach the roundabout, take the second exit towards Huacachina. After about 5 more minutes of walking, you will arrive at Mercado Huacachichan, located at Huacachina S/N, Ica 11000.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  From the main plaza in Ica, head to the nearby bus terminal. Look for buses heading to Huacachina; they are frequent and inexpensive. The ride should take approximately 10-15 minutes. Once you arrive at Huacachina, you will see signs for Mercado Huacachichan. It's a short walk from the bus drop-off point. Head towards the main street in Huacachina and follow the signs; the market is located at Huacachina S/N, Ica 11000.

• Taxi

  You can easily find a taxi from any point in Ica. Just tell the driver you want to go to Mercado Huacachichan in Huacachina. The fare should be reasonable, typically around 10-15 soles. The drive will take about 15 minutes, depending on traffic. The driver will drop you off right at the entrance of the market at Huacachina S/N, Ica 11000.
