From Junín, take the Carretera Central (Central Highway) towards Huancayo. After approximately 30 kilometers, you will see signs for Chinchayqucha. Turn left onto the access road leading to the lake, which is well-marked. The drive will take around 45 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you reach the area, there is parking available near the lake.

To reach Chinchayqucha via public transport, head to the main bus terminal in Junín. Look for buses or colectivos (shared taxis) heading towards Huancayo. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the junction for Chinchayqucha. The fare should be around 5-10 PEN. Once you get off, you will need to walk approximately 2 kilometers along the access road to reach the lake.
