Car
If you are traveling by car, head towards the town of Yumani located on the southern shore of Lake Titicaca. Use Google Maps or a GPS device and input the coordinates XV64+F36. Once you arrive in Yumani, look for signs directing you to the Inca Stairs. Parking may be limited, so be prepared to walk a short distance from your parking spot to the stairs.
Public Transportation
Take a bus from Puno to Copacabana, which takes approximately 3-4 hours. Once in Copacabana, you can catch a boat to Yumani. The boat ride will take about 30-45 minutes. Upon arrival at the Yumani dock, head uphill towards the village center, where you will find signs guiding you to the Inca Stairs. Note that boat tickets typically cost between 20-30 Bolivianos.
Walking
Upon reaching Yumani by either car or boat, you may need to walk to the Inca Stairs. From the main dock, walk uphill towards the village center. The Inca Stairs are approximately a 10-15 minute walk from the dock. Follow the signs or ask locals for directions if needed. The stairs are located at the coordinates XV64+F36.
