Metro
If you are near a metro station, take Line 1 (the Lima Metro). Board the train heading towards 'Ataud' and get off at 'Jirón de la Unión' station. Once you exit the station, walk east along Jirón de la Unión for about 10 minutes until you reach Plaza Mayor. From there, you will see the Lima Cathedral located on the northern side of the square at Jirón Carabaya.

You can take a local bus that goes towards the downtown area. Look for buses going to 'Centro de Lima' or 'Plaza Mayor'. Once you reach Plaza Mayor, disembark at the plaza. The Lima Cathedral is directly located on the northern side of the square at Jirón Carabaya, just a short walk from your bus stop.

If you are staying in the central area of Lima, you can simply walk to the Lima Cathedral. From the Plaza San Martín, head towards Jirón de la Unión and continue walking straight for about 15 minutes. When you arrive at Plaza Mayor, the cathedral will be right in front of you on Jirón Carabaya.
