Bus
If you are in the Miraflores district, head to the nearest bus stop on Avenida José Larco. Take the bus number 51 or 301 towards Centro. The bus will take you along Avenida José Larco, passing through the vibrant areas of Barranco and San Isidro. Stay on the bus until you reach the 'Jirón de la Unión' stop in downtown Lima. From there, walk straight on Jirón de la Unión towards Plaza Mayor. Once you reach Plaza Mayor, you can easily spot the Parque de la Exposición to the north. It’s about a 15-minute walk from the Plaza Mayor.
Metro
To reach Museo de Arte de Lima using the metro, find the nearest metro station, such as 'Estación 28 de Julio' in Miraflores. Take Line 1 (the light blue line) towards 'Las estaciones' and get off at 'Estación La Cultura'. After exiting the station, head north towards Avenida 9 de Diciembre. Turn left and walk along Avenida 9 de Diciembre for about 10 minutes until you reach Parque de la Exposición, where the museum is located.
Taxi or Rideshare
If you prefer a more direct method, you can take a taxi or use a rideshare service like Uber. Simply request a ride to 'Museo de Arte de Lima' or input the address: Parque de la Exposición, Av. 9 de Diciembre 125, Lima 15046. The driver will take you straight to the museum, and you can expect a travel time of about 20 minutes depending on traffic.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of Parque de la Exposición, you can simply walk there. Look for the main avenue, Avenida 9 de Diciembre. The museum is located directly on this avenue at number 125. It is surrounded by beautiful parks, so it is a pleasant walk if you are nearby.
