Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Nazca town center. Head southeast on the Pan-American Highway (Route 1) for about 20 kilometers. Look for the sign for 'Mirador' and turn off the highway onto a dirt road that leads directly to the viewpoint. There is parking available near the site. The trip should take approximately 30 minutes depending on traffic conditions.
Public Transportation
To reach Mirador using public transportation, take a local bus or shared van (known as a 'colectivo') from the Nazca bus terminal. Look for a colectivo heading towards Huayuri. Inform the driver that you want to stop at Mirador. The ride will take about 30-40 minutes and typically costs around 5-10 soles. Once you arrive at Huayuri, you may need to walk a short distance to the viewpoint, depending on where you are dropped off.
Walking from Huayuri
If you arrive in Huayuri and need to walk to the Mirador, head northwest on GM5X+2P. The viewpoint is within walking distance, approximately 1-2 kilometers from the center of Huayuri, and should take around 15-20 minutes on foot.
