Getting There

  • Walking

    From the main square in Puno, Plaza de Armas, head southeast on Avenida Lima. Follow this road for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Avenida El Sol. Turn right onto Avenida El Sol, which will take you toward the lakefront. Continue straight for another 500 meters until you reach the shoreline of Lake Titicaca. Enjoy the views along the promenade.

    From the Plaza de Armas, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Avenida El Sol. Look for buses heading to 'Laguna de los Cóndores' or 'Isla del Sol,' as they usually pass by the lake.
