From the main plaza (Plaza de Armas) in Puno, walk to the bus terminal located on Av. Simón Bolívar. Look for buses heading towards Juliaca. Board one of these buses, as they will pass near Waru waru. The journey takes about 45 minutes. Make sure to inform the driver or conductor that you want to get off at Waru waru.
