    From the center of San Martin, head southeast on Av. José de la Riva Agüero. Continue on this road for about 10 km until you reach the junction with the PE-5N. Take a right onto the PE-5N and follow the signs for Santa Lucia. After approximately 15 km, you will see a sign for Río San Martín. Turn left onto the dirt road. Continue for about 5 km until you reach the river. Be aware that the road can be rough, so a 4x4 vehicle is recommended.

    Start at Plaza de Armas in San Martin. Look for a local bus or 'combi' that heads towards Santa Lucia. The fare should be around 5 soles. The bus ride will take about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Santa Lucia, ask the driver or locals for directions to Río San Martín, which is approximately 5 km away. You may need to hire a local taxi or walk, depending on your preference.
