If you are starting from the Plaza de Armas in Trujillo, head southeast on Jirón Pizarro. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach Av. Nicolás de Piérola. Turn left onto Av. Nicolás de Piérola and walk for approximately 250 meters. The Museo Arqueológico José Cassinelli Mazzei will be on your right at Av. Nicolás de Piérola 607.

From the Plaza de Armas, find the nearest bus stop on Av. España. Take a minibus that heads toward the city center or Huanchaco (look for signs on the bus that indicate their route). Inform the driver or the conductor that you are going to Museo Arqueológico. Get off at the stop closest to Av. Nicolás de Piérola, which should be around 1 km from the Plaza. Walk down Av. Nicolás de Piérola for about 200 meters, and the museum will be on your left at number 607.
