From Anawangin Cove, head towards the beach and follow the trail that leads to the main path away from the shoreline. Continue on this path for approximately 15-20 minutes, keeping an eye out for signs directing you towards Sampaloc Point. The trail will lead you through some beautiful landscapes. You’ll know you’re getting close when the path starts to incline slightly. When you reach the top, you will find yourself at Sampaloc Point, where you can enjoy stunning views of the cove.
Boat Ride
If you prefer a quicker route, you can hire a local boat to take you from Anawangin Cove to Sampaloc Point. Speak to any of the local boatmen around the cove; the cost typically ranges from PHP 200 to PHP 500, depending on the size of the boat and the number of passengers. The boat ride takes about 10-15 minutes. Make sure to negotiate the price beforehand and agree on the return time.
