Car
If you are driving from Legazpi City, head north on the Pan-Philippine Highway (AH26) towards Tabaco City. Once in Tabaco, take the road towards Virac, Catanduanes. After approximately 2 hours, you will reach the ferry terminal in Tabaco where you can board a ferry to Virac. The ferry ride takes about 1 hour and costs around 200-300 PHP per person. Upon arrival in Virac, take the National Road heading north towards Baras for about 30 minutes. Look for signs directing you to Binurong Point, which is located in Baras, Catanduanes. The final stretch involves a short hike to reach the viewpoint.
Public Transportation
From Legazpi City, take a bus to Tabaco City. Buses leave regularly and the fare is about 50 PHP. Once you arrive in Tabaco, transfer to a jeepney heading to the Tabaco Ferry Terminal. After reaching the terminal, board a ferry to Virac, which takes about 1 hour and costs around 200-300 PHP. Upon arriving in Virac, you can take another jeepney or tricycle to Baras. The fare for this leg is approximately 50 PHP. Once in Baras, ask locals for directions to Binurong Point, which involves a short hike from the nearest road to the viewpoint.
