If you are driving from Legazpi City, take the Pan-Philippine Highway (AH26) heading north. Continue driving for approximately 200 kilometers until you reach the junction for Masbate. Follow the signs directing you to the ferry terminal at Pilar, where you can take a ferry to Masbate Island. The ferry ride takes around 1.5 to 3 hours, depending on the sea conditions. Once you arrive at Masbate City, continue driving towards Monreal, which is about 40 kilometers away. Follow the signs to Monreal, and once you arrive in the town, navigate to the coordinates PH6X+M57, Monreal, Masbate, which is the location of Halea Nature Park.
Public Transportation
To reach Halea Nature Park using public transport, you can take a bus from Legazpi City to Masbate City. Several bus companies operate this route and the journey takes approximately 6 to 8 hours. Once in Masbate City, find the local terminal for jeepneys or vans heading towards Monreal. The ride from Masbate City to Monreal takes about 1 hour. Upon arriving in Monreal, you can hire a tricycle or walk to the location at PH6X+M57, which is the site of Halea Nature Park.
Ferry
If you are coming from mainland Luzon, the most common way is to take a ferry from Pilar, which operates regularly to Masbate Island.
