To reach Calinawan Cave, first make your way to Calaguas Island. If you're in Manila, you can take a bus from Cubao or Pasay to Daet, Camarines Norte. The bus fare typically ranges from PHP 500 to PHP 800 depending on the company and type of service. Upon arrival in Daet, head to the pier where you can find boats heading to Calaguas Island. The boat fare varies but usually costs around PHP 1,500 to PHP 2,000 per person for a round trip. The boat ride takes about 2-3 hours.

Once you arrive at Calaguas Island, you can rent a local boat or hire a tricycle to reach Calinawan Cave. The cave is located on the mainland side of the island. The boat ride to the mainland usually costs around PHP 300 to PHP 500 for a round trip, depending on the negotiation with the boatman. If you choose a tricycle, it may cost around PHP 150 to PHP 300 depending on the distance.

After reaching the mainland, you may need to hike for about 30 minutes to reach Calinawan Cave. The path can be rocky and uneven, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring plenty of water. Follow the signs or ask locals for directions to ensure you are on the right path. Keep in mind that there might be a small entrance fee for the cave, which is usually around PHP 50.
