If you are driving from the center of Butuan City, head southeast on J.C. Aquino Avenue towards 6th Street. Continue on J.C. Aquino Avenue for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with 6th Street. Turn left onto 6th Street, and after about 300 meters, you will find the Balangay Shrine on your right. Parking is available nearby.

From the Butuan City proper, look for a jeepney that is heading towards the Balangay Shrine area. You can ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest point to the shrine. The fare is usually around 10-15 PHP. Once you get off, walk along 6th Street for about 200 meters, and you will reach the shrine on your left.
