If you're traveling by car, use a navigation app to enter the coordinates: 8.9719721, 125.538434. From the center of Butuan City, head south on J.C. Aquino Avenue. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the national highway. Turn right onto the national highway (AH26) and follow it for about 4 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to Banza Church Ruins, and turn left onto a smaller road leading to the site. There is no entrance fee, and parking is typically available nearby.

Public Transportation
If using public transportation, you can take a 'jeepney' from Butuan City to Talacogon. Look for jeepneys with 'Talacogon' signage at the jeepney terminal. The fare should be around 20-30 PHP. Ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest point to Banza Church Ruins. Once you get off, it is about a 10-15 minute walk to the ruins. Follow the road signs and ask locals for directions if needed. There is no entrance fee for the ruins.
