From Butuan City, take the Natioanl Highway heading south toward Tandag City. Look for signs leading to Lianga. Once you reach Lianga, continue on the Unnamed Road until you arrive at Bao-bao Falls. Parking may be available nearby, but be prepared for a short walk to the falls.

To reach Bao-bao Falls using public transportation, you can take a bus from Butuan City to Lianga. Buses frequently depart from the Butuan City Bus Terminal. Once you arrive at the Lianga bus station, you can hire a tricycle or a habal-habal (motorcycle taxi) to take you to Bao-bao Falls. The fare for the tricycle is typically around PHP 50-100 depending on negotiation, and the journey will take about 20-30 minutes.
