Car
If you are driving, start your journey from San Fernando City, Pampanga. Head northeast on the Jose Abad Santos Avenue/NLEX Connector Road. Continue to follow the NLEX until you reach the exit for the San Simon exit. Take the exit towards the MacArthur Highway/A. De Jesus Avenue. Continue on MacArthur Highway, passing through the towns of San Simon and Apalit. After Apalit, follow the signs to Cabiao, Nueva Ecija. Once you reach Cabiao, look for signs indicating Candaba Swamp, which is located on the outskirts of the town. Parking may be available near the entrance, but check local conditions. Make sure to have a GPS or a map app handy for real-time navigation.
Public Transportation
To reach Candaba Swamp via public transportation, start your journey at the San Fernando Bus Terminal. Board a bus heading towards Cabanatuan City or Cabiao. The fare is typically around PHP 50-70. Inform the conductor that you are heading to Cabiao. Once you arrive in Cabiao, you can either take a tricycle or a local jeepney heading towards Candaba Swamp. The tricycle fare is approximately PHP 20-30 per person. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at the entrance of Candaba Swamp.
