Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start your journey from the nearest town or city. Follow signs towards Carmen, Bohol. The viewing deck is approximately a 30-minute drive from the center of Carmen. Once you arrive in Carmen, look for the signs directing you to the Chocolate Hills. You will need to take the road leading to the Chocolate Hills Complex. As you approach, you'll see the entrance to the viewing deck area. There is a parking area available, but be aware there might be a minimal parking fee.

• Public Transportation

  To reach the Chocolate Hills Viewing Deck using public transportation, head to the nearest bus terminal that services routes to Carmen, Bohol. Look for buses that are marked for 'Carmen' or 'Chocolate Hills.' The bus ride typically takes around 1-2 hours depending on the traffic. Once you arrive at the Carmen bus terminal, you can take a local tricycle or motorcycle taxi to the Chocolate Hills Viewing Deck. This ride will take about 15-20 minutes. Expect to pay around 50-100 PHP for the tricycle ride, depending on negotiation.

• Walking

  If you are already in the vicinity of the Chocolate Hills and prefer to walk, make sure you have sturdy shoes. From the main entrance of the Chocolate Hills Complex, follow the marked pathways that lead to the viewing deck. The walk is approximately 1 km and will take about 15-20 minutes. Keep hydrated and enjoy the scenic views along the way!
