Getting There

• Tricycle

  If you are starting your journey from Tagbilaran City, head to the Tagbilaran City Public Terminal. From there, take a tricycle to the Carmen area. The ride will take approximately 1-1.5 hours, depending on traffic. Make sure to tell the driver that you want to go to the Chocolate Hills View Point, as they are familiar with the location. Upon reaching Carmen, the driver will drop you off at the entrance to the Chocolate Hills area.

• Bus

  From Tagbilaran City, you can take a bus from the Dao Terminal to Carmen. Look for buses or vans that are heading towards the northern part of Bohol. The bus ride will take about 1-1.5 hours. Once you arrive at the Carmen bus stop, you can hire a tricycle to take you to the Chocolate Hills View Point, which is approximately 15 minutes away.

• Motorbike Rental

  For those feeling adventurous, you can rent a motorbike in Tagbilaran City. After renting, head north on the main highway towards Carmen. The ride will take about 1-1.5 hours. Follow the signs for Chocolate Hills, and once you reach Carmen, look for directional signs leading to the viewpoint. Upon arrival, you can park your motorbike at the designated area.

• Walking

  If you're already in Carmen and feeling up for a hike, you can walk to the Chocolate Hills View Point. Start from the Carmen Town Center and head towards the Chocolate Hills, which is about 5-7 kilometers away. Follow the road signs and ask locals for directions if needed. The walk will take approximately 1.5-2 hours, depending on your pace.
