Car
If you're driving, head towards Sagada from Bontoc via the Halsema Highway (National Road). The journey is approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic and road conditions. Once you reach Sagada, navigate to South Road. Look for the landmark of the Sagada Municipal Hall, then continue on South Road until you find the entrance of Sumaguing Cave, located at 3W83+75M. Parking may be available near the entrance, but be sure to arrive early as it can fill up quickly.
Public Transportation (Bus)
From Bontoc, take a jeepney or bus bound for Sagada. The trip takes about 30-45 minutes. Once you arrive at the Sagada town proper, you can either walk to Sumaguing Cave which is about a 20-30 minute walk or hire a local tricycle to take you directly to the cave entrance. Ensure to ask the driver to drop you off at Sumaguing Cave located on South Road at coordinates 3W83+75M.
Tricycle
If you are already in Sagada and prefer a quicker option, you can hire a tricycle from the town center to take you directly to Sumaguing Cave. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand. The ride will take approximately 10 minutes depending on traffic. Again, the cave is located on South Road at the address 3W83+75M.
