From Davao City, head north on the Davao-Agusan National Highway (also known as the McArthur Highway). Continue for approximately 45 kilometers until you reach the junction in the town of Monkayo. Turn left onto the Monkayo-Mabini Road. Drive for about 11 kilometers, and then look for signages directing you to Awao Falls. The falls are located in Brgy. Awao, about 2 kilometers from the main road. You may need to park your vehicle at designated areas and walk the remaining distance to the falls. Ensure you have a map app active for the most accurate navigation.

From Davao City, take a bus or van heading to Monkayo. The ride typically takes about 2 to 3 hours. Once you arrive in Monkayo, you can hire a local habal-habal (motorcycle taxi) to take you to Awao Falls.
