Private Car
If you are traveling by private car, start on the main road leading to Biliran Island. From Tacloban City, take the Biliran-Cavite Road towards Biliran Province. Once you reach the town of Naval, follow the signs to Almeria. After entering Almeria, continue on to JCGP+6PQ, where Ulan-ulan Falls is located. Parking is available near the entrance, but be cautious of road conditions as they can be narrow and winding.
Public Transportation - Bus
To reach Ulan-ulan Falls using public transportation, take a bus from Tacloban City to Naval. Buses regularly depart from the Tacloban Bus Terminal and the fare is approximately PHP 150-200. Upon reaching Naval, transfer to a local jeepney or tricycle heading to Almeria. The jeepney fare is around PHP 20. Inform the driver that you are going to Ulan-ulan Falls, and they will drop you off at the nearest point. From there, it may require a short hike to reach the falls.
Tricycle from Naval
Once you are in Naval, you can hire a tricycle to take you directly to Ulan-ulan Falls. Make sure to negotiate the fare before starting the trip; it should cost around PHP 150-250 depending on your starting point in Naval. The driver will take you through local roads, and you can enjoy the scenic views along the way. Ensure to ask for the return fare if you plan to come back with the same tricycle.
