Getting There

• Tricycle

  If you're in Laoag City, take a tricycle to the Laoag City Bus Terminal. Once there, you can catch a bus to Solsona. The fare for the tricycle ride should be around 20-30 PHP, and the bus fare to Solsona is approximately 30-50 PHP. Inform the driver that you’re heading to the Ilocos Norte View Deck. The bus ride will take about 30-45 minutes. After reaching Solsona, you can either walk or hire another tricycle to take you to the view deck, which is located on Apayao Road. The tricycle fare from the Solsona center to the view deck should be around 50-100 PHP.

• Bus

  From Vigan or Paoay, catch a bus heading to Laoag City. Once you arrive at Laoag City, head to the Laoag City Bus Terminal and take a bus to Solsona. The total travel time should be about 1-2 hours, depending on the bus schedule. Upon arriving in Solsona, you can walk or take a tricycle to reach the Ilocos Norte View Deck on Apayao Road. The tricycle fare should be around 50-100 PHP.

• Habal-Habal (Motorcycle Taxi)

  If you're looking for a quicker option, you can hire a habal-habal from any location in Ilocos Norte to take you directly to the Ilocos Norte View Deck on Apayao Road. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand, which usually ranges between 100-200 PHP depending on your starting point. The ride will be faster than a bus or tricycle, taking about 30 minutes or less from nearby towns.
