Car
If you are driving from Metro Manila, take the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) and continue onto SCTEX (Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway). Follow the signs to Tarlac City, then take the Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway (TPLEX) towards La Union. Once you reach La Union, take the San Fernando exit and follow the signs to San Gabriel. From the town center, take the local road leading to Tangadan Falls. Parking is available at the entrance, but expect to pay a small fee (around PHP 20). The final stretch to the falls requires a short trek of about 15-30 minutes depending on your pace.
Public Transportation
To reach Tangadan Falls via public transportation, take a bus bound for San Fernando, La Union from either Cubao or Pasay bus terminals in Metro Manila. Upon arrival at San Fernando, transfer to a jeepney headed to San Gabriel. In San Gabriel, you can hire a tricycle or ask locals for directions to Tangadan Falls. The jeepney fare from San Fernando to San Gabriel is approximately PHP 20, and the tricycle ride to the falls will cost around PHP 100-150. Be prepared for a short trek to the falls from the drop-off point.
