Car
If you are driving, start from Davao City. Head southeast on Quezon Blvd toward San Pedro St, then continue onto J.P. Laurel Ave. Follow the signs to Mount Apo via the Davao-Bukidnon Road (also known as Diversion Road). Once you reach the town of Bansalan, continue on the road until you reach the foot of Mt. Apo. Park your vehicle at the designated parking area for hikers. From the parking area, you will need to trek to the Boulder/Sulfuric Rock, which is roughly a 3-4 hour hike depending on your pace.

Public Transportation
To reach Mt. Apo using public transportation, take a bus from Davao City to Bansalan. Buses leave regularly from the Ecoland Bus Terminal. The fare is approximately PHP 150-200. Upon arrival in Bansalan, you can hire a local tricycle or jeepney to take you to the foot of Mt. Apo. The fare for the tricycle or jeepney ride will be around PHP 50-100. Once you arrive, you will need to trek to the Boulder/Sulfuric Rock, which is about a 3-4 hour hike.
