Car
If you have access to a car, start your journey from the town center of Santa Cruz, Davao del Sur. Head southeast on the Davao-Cotabato Road. Continue driving for about 12 km until you reach the junction leading to Barangay Kapatagan. Turn left onto the road towards Mt. Apo. Drive for another 10 km while enjoying the scenic views. As you approach the area, look for the signs pointing towards Sorongon Highlands. The final part of the drive will be on a gravel road, so proceed with caution. The Sorongon Highlands View Deck is located at the coordinates W7QV+5C, Santa Cruz, Davao del Sur. Make sure you have a GPS or a navigation app for precise directions. Parking is available at the view deck.

Public Transportation
To reach Sorongon Highlands View Deck using public transportation, start from Santa Cruz town and take a jeepney or bus heading towards Kapatagan. The fare should be around PHP 20-30. Inform the driver of your destination. Once you reach the Barangay Kapatagan junction, you may have to walk approximately 1.5 km along the gravel road towards Sorongon Highlands. Alternatively, you can hire a habal-habal (motorcycle taxi) from the junction for about PHP 100-150 to take you directly to the view deck. Ensure you arrange your return transportation in advance.
