Hiking
From the center of Sagada, head towards the Sagada Municipal Hall which is a well-known landmark. Once you reach the Municipal Hall, take the path leading to the Eco-Trail. Follow the signs directing you towards the Banaue Rice Terraces. The hike to the viewdeck will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your pace. Ensure to stay on the marked trails and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. You will eventually reach the Banaue Rice Terraces Main Viewdeck, where you can take in the stunning vistas.
Tricycle
From any point in Sagada, you can catch a tricycle to Banaue. Inform the driver that you want to go to the Banaue Rice Terraces Main Viewdeck. The ride will take about 30 minutes, and you will enjoy the beautiful mountain views along the way. Once you arrive, the tricycle can drop you off at the entrance near the viewdeck.
Walking
If you are feeling adventurous, you can walk from Sagada to Banaue, but this will be a long trek. Start from the Sagada town proper and take the road leading out of town towards the direction of Banaue. Keep to the left side of the road and follow the path signs that indicate the way to Banaue. This walk can take around 5-6 hours, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring plenty of water.
