Hiking
From the center of Sagada, head towards the main road leading out of town. You can start at the Sagada Visitors Center. Walk along the road until you reach the junction where the road splits towards the direction of Banaue. Continue walking straight for about 3-4 kilometers. Keep an eye out for signs or ask locals for directions to Banaue. Enjoy the scenic views as you walk, but be prepared for a bit of uphill terrain. After about an hour of walking, you will reach a point where you can catch a jeepney or tricycle to Banaue.

Once you're at the junction where you can catch a jeepney, look for the ones heading to Banaue. The jeepney ride will take approximately 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic and road conditions. Inform the driver that you want to go to the Banaue Rice Terraces Main Viewdeck. The jeepney will drop you off at the nearest point to the viewdeck. From there, you may need to walk a short distance uphill to reach the main viewdeck area.
