From anywhere in Soccsksargen, head towards General Santos City. Use the South Cotabato Expressway (also known as the GenSan-Gloria Diaz Road) and follow the signs towards General Santos City. Once in the city, navigate to Purok Upper Banualan. Buntod Gensan is located at 24PM+QH9, which is besides Mt. Zion. You can use GPS coordinates (6.0369036, 125.1339820) to guide you directly to the location. Parking may be available near the area.
Public Transportation
Take a jeepney or bus heading towards General Santos City from your location in Soccsksargen. Once you arrive at the General Santos City terminal, look for local jeepneys that pass through Purok Upper Banualan. You can ask the driver to drop you off at Mt. Zion; it’s a well-known landmark. From there, Buntod Gensan is a short walk away, just beside Mt. Zion. Ensure to have small change ready for the jeepney fare, which is typically around 10-20 PHP.
Motorcycle Taxi (Habala-habal)
If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a motorcycle taxi (locally known as habal-habal) from the General Santos City terminal. Negotiate the fare beforehand, which usually ranges from 50 PHP to 150 PHP depending on the distance. The driver will take you straight to Buntod Gensan (24PM+QH9, besides Mt. Zion). This option is faster and allows you to avoid potential waits for public transport.
